Woman, Create: Designing the Wonder Woman in you
More than just a character in the DC Universe, Wonder Woman has also become a symbol for gender equality and has been considered as a feminist icon. Which is why it is only fitting that she has also become the heart of Woman, Create - a local community and “movement that gathers and empowers young women through art, creativity and (fun) discourse in order to ultimately design the Wonder Woman in them.”
Last Saturday, April 11, 2015 Woman, Create had another ‘Design The Wonder Woman In You’ event at the top shelf of Fully Booked in BGC.
Local artists and musicians were invited to give talks and workshops on their respective crafts and give live performances and to speak on personal experiences on women empowerment.
