Genshin Impact 1.5 Update & PS5 Launch, April 28
A new update is due on April 28, alongside the launch of the PlayStation 5 version of Genshin Impact.

Publisher miHoYo recently announced that Genshin Impact’s Version 1.5 update “Beneath the Light of Jadeite” will arrive on April 28, 2021. The update delves further into the history of Liyue with Zhongli. In it, players will meet new characters Eula and Yanfei, facing off against new foes, and establishing a personal realm in Teyvat. Alongside the update also the launch of Genshin Impact on PlayStation 5. Though players could already play the game on the console, players will now also be able to opt for a next-generation Genshin Impact experience, with native support for PlayStation 5 bringing enhanced visuals and game performance.

- Second Installment of Zhongli’s Story Quest
- New Hangout Events (Noelle and Diona)
- Two New Playable Characters (5* Eula and 4* Yanfei)
- Two New Opponents (Azhdaha and Cryo Hypostasis)
- Serenitea Pot (Build+Decorate Home)
- Some QoL updates
