ToyCon PopLife FanXperience 2016: Through our Lenses
2016 is a big year for ToyCon Philippines, for 2016 marks their 15th anniversary. And for this year’s event, ToyCon PH went big, by partnering up with Pop Life FanXperience and delivering something for everyone, not just toy collectors and hobbyists!
This is actually the first ToyCon that I attended, and definitely not the last. Everywhere you look, there’s something tempting your eyes and your hands (and your wallets). What I really loved is that they brought out the geeks in everyone! Moms and dads who got dragged along by their kids seemed to have had a lot of fun. From gamers, to sports fans, to toy collectors, to geeks, there’s certainly things at ToyCon for everyone to enjoy.
International celebrities Kristian Nairn (Hodor from Game of Thrones), Daniel Logan (young Boba Fett from Star Wars Episode II), Dean Cain (Clark Kent / Superman) and musician Frankie J also graced the stage, and the fans went crazy! Especially for Kristian Nairn’s “Rave of Thrones”. Local celebrities John Arcilla (Heneral Luna), Mon Confiado, and the band Stereodeal were also up the stage.
Here’s the rest of ToyCon PopLife FanXperience as we captured them through our lenses.
