PlayStation Asia Offers Lunar New Year Deals and Prizes

PlayStation Asia kicks off the year of the rooster with a multitude of great offers and prizes for their PlayStation Network members.

For starters, you can get up to 75% discount on select PS4™ and PS Vita digital titles, even better deals for PlayStation®Plus subscribers. Notable discounted games include FINAL FANTASY XV, Watch Dogs 2, Battlefield™ 1, and Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare. Pretty sweet considering these are all pretty recent major releases.

It also seems that this event is primarily targeting PlayStation Plus subscriptions, as the rest of these promotions exclusively benefits PlayStation Plus members. First off, my personal favorite is the 12+3 month subscription offer. Starting today up to the 8th of February, if you apply for a 12 month PS Plus subscription, you get an additional 3 months totally free.

A PlayStation Plus subscription grants multiplayer access on the PlayStation Network and a monthly offering of PlayStation titles that usually consists of 2 games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 3 each. That’s 15 months of free multiplayer access and well over 40 free games! If that’s not enough, they’re even offering an extra free PlayStation Plus game for the month of January. Joining January’s free game line-up of Tales of Zesteria and Alienation is the God of War III Remastered Edition. And If these offers aren’t enough to get you convinced, this next one just might…

Last but not the least is their PlayStation Plus Lucky Rooster Campaign. From January 28th to the 31st, PlayStation Asia’s Facebook page will be giving away PlayStation swag to some lucky PS Plus members each day at 1 pm. Look at all ‘em PlayStation goodies.

Most of us here in the Philippines probably had our PlayStation Network accounts registered to the North America region(R1) simply because it was the most convenient. But if there’s one thing these Exclusive Lunar New Year Offers prove, it’s that PlayStation Asia can not only match the western offers now, they can even beat them.
