WATCH: The DEFENDERS Assemble In First Official Trailer!
The first trailer for Marvel’s The Defenders on Netflix has finally arrived. The trailer sees how Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) come together to fight the Hand, its mysterious villain Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver), and the return of Elektra. It also features the characters’ own supporting cast meeting them too with, Misty Knight, Coleen Wing, and Stick. Did I mention how much this trailer packs a bunch of punches? Because it sure did as we get to see them fight side by side, and yes it involves a hallway.
The Defenders will be a culmination of everything Marvel Television has been developing for the past two years in Netflix’s platform. It began with Marvel’s Daredevil as he was fighting off the hand and The Kingpin, Jessica Jones defeating her personal demons and her tormentor, Luke Cage making a name for himself to Harlem’s hero, and Danny Rand returning from the dead as he becomes the Iron Fist.
The Defenders premieres on Netflix on August 18, 2017!
