FILBAR’s Celebrate FREE COMIC BOOK DAY with SALE and FREEBIES
FREE COMIC BOOK DAY happens this weekend, together with our Flip the Switch screening of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ (check here). But of course, the main highlight of that day is the FCBD celebration by our partnered local comic shops! Long time comic shop Filbar’s will be participating as well and they do have some awesome stuff waiting for those who to their shop!

Mark your calendars. Filbar’s is celebrating FCBD at SM Megamall, on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Since SM Megamall will be also be holding it’s Mega 3-day sale, Filbar’s will be open till midnight — yes, you heard that right, midnight!
Customers are allowed to take home two (2) free FCBD exclusive comics each. Offer is good until supplies last. No purchase is necessary. However, we encourage customers not to get duplicate copies of the same issue, so that everyone can have equal access to the books.
As part of the Filbar’s 35th Anniversary celebration, the first 35 customers who visit the event will also be receiving a free hardcover copy of Stephen King’s “The Dark Tower.” In addition, the first 300 customers who visit the store will receive a copy of our exclusive Filbar’s “Sketch Book” ashcan. Some of the artists featured in the ashcan will be at the store during the event to sign copies. We will be posting their schedule shortly.
As part of the festivities, Filbar’s Megamall will have over 100 trade paperback and hardcover titles on sale, at up to 75% off of the cover price.
A minimum single-receipt purchase of P200 at the event entitles you to one (1) raffle stub. We are raffling five (5) copies of Amazing Spider-man #1 DCD 2014 Summit LEGO Variant, as well as one (1) poster print, signed by by British comic artist Jimmy Cheung, known for his work on Marvel’s “Young Avengers” and “New Avengers: Illuminati.”
Raffle stubs must be submitted at Filbar’s SM Megamall, on May 3, 2014, between 10 AM and 5 PM. The winner will be announced at the store at 6 PM, on the same day. The winner will also be notified by phone and e-mail, and will have up to 30 days to claim the prize from the same branch. Winners must present one (1) valid ID to claim the prize. Filbar’s and Collecticons, Inc. employees, business partners, store personnel including their relatives of up to the second degree of affinity are disqualified from joining the promotion.
