Upcoming DC Collectibles you might wanna buy in 2013

DC Collectibles lineup for 2013 looks good, as they are bringing in more stuff based on their comic book and video game properties. Now let’s take a look at they have in store for us for February 2013. First up is a statue based on Frank Miller‘s classic – The Dark Knight Returns. Kotobukiya is also coming up with their own ARTFX statue which features Bats beating up The Joker (see here). But we  must admit that DC collectibles indeed captured one of the best moments of TDKR — Batman riding that big black horse!

A RIDE TO REMEMBER!
Mounted on a horse as black as the night he defends, the Caped Crusader rallies the troops in this new statue inspired by Frank Miller’s legendary work, BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS. This skillfully designed piece is as detailed as it is unique, so order now before it sell out!
Measuring approximately 14.5″ high x 12.5″ wide x 10″ deep, his hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain statue is packaged in a 4-color box.

When it comes to DC action figures, I still prefer DC Collectibles more than the Mattel figures (DC universe, etc). And now they’re coming up with more Arkham City figures, and my favorite among them — NIGHTWING!!

Deadshot – 6.7″ h
Nightwing – 6.65″ h
Batman – 6.75″ h
Talia – 6.5″ h
Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, it’s filled with the most murderous villains from DC Comics’ Batman universe. But Batman is ready to tackle it with all-new gadgets and his greatest-and most dangerous-allies. Which is good, because he’ll need all the help he can get for his journey into the darkest corners of Gotham City. Based on the blockbuster video game published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, developed by Rocksteady Studios, and licensed by DC Entertainment.
* Action Figures * $22.95 US Each * On sale March 2013

Lastly, here’s one for the DC Women lovers out there! In the past we had great lines like Cover Girls (the ones based on Adam Hughes art are the best by the way) and Women of the DC Universe. And now DC is doing something different with their new line — Bombshells, which features various DC women modeled after iconic 1940s pin-up artwork! They have only unveiled Supergirl and Wonder Woman but hope we get some more with the first wave.
