RUMOR HAS IT… Denzel Washington to be Green Lantern – John Stewart

Rumor has it that Denzel Washington was screened audition to play as Lex Luthor for the upcoming ‘Batman-Superman‘ film. Yet that role went to Joaquin Phoenix. But, now rumor has it that he is set to play as John Stewart – the third Green Lantern of Earth.

[Note: for non-comics fans: Yes, there is more than one Green Lantern on Earth. I bet you’ve seen the Ryan Reynolds-Green Lantern one. But, yeah. John Stewart is a Green Lantern. Here’s a wiki link about him.]
