WHO YOU GONNA CALL? LEGO RELEASES OFFICIAL GHOSTBUSTERS LEGO SET
A few months ago we featured the announcement that LEGO would manufacture a play set for one of the famous 80’s movie franchises, THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS. In celebration of the Ghostbuster’s 30th anniversary, LEGO has released the official play set in its LEGO CUUSOO (now called LEGO IDEAS) series called the LEGO 21108 GHOSTBUSTERS ECTO-1 LEGO PLAY SET. The concept and design was originally submitted by BRENT WALLER and the next set of pictures shows the comparison between the Brent’s original designs and LEGO’s official set. Brent’s design is the figure on the left and the official set is the one the right. We could expect the GHOSTBUSTERS ECTO-1 LEGO PLAY SET to be available by June this year and would cost about $49.99. Other popular properties that were made into LEGO sets include BACK TO THE FUTURE’S DELOREAN and most recently the THE SIMPSONS.
