RISE OF INCARNATES Coming to Steam Early Access

Upcoming free-to-play fighting game Rise of Incarnates is coming to Steam Early Access on February 4, according to Bandai Namco.

Anyone who will be signing up for the game’s newsletter will be receiving an Early Registration Gift as part of the campaign for its impending release. Furthermore, the said gift will be including a customization kit for each of the characters.

The game will debut with eight different, customizable characters. Bandai Namco promises that the roster have diverse abilities which could fit various play styles, allowing room for different team strategies.

Players do battle in 2 vs. 2 arenas set in New York City and Paris. The matches come in several different flavors, including versus, arcade mode, and bot matches. “Players must employ sharp reflexes, mental resolve and strategic insight,” during the matches.

Rise of Incarnates had its release date pushed back in the West to tweak areas Bandai Namco found needed improvement through user feedback. “We decided to push [Early Access release] back to early 2015,” producer Michael Murray told IGN in December. “It’ll give us enough time to polish off the game.”
