COMIC BOOK REVIEW: Wolverine and the X-Men #2

Norby’s Take:

From what I reviewed from issue #1 and now to it’s second issue, I can truly say that this brand new X-title is the most friendliest to all new readers who wanted to get into the X-Men franchise. Everyboday can join in the bandwagon, roast some marshmallows and never get lost. Jason Aaron and Chris Bachalo just hit this out of the park.

This issue was an action-packed comic. As it continues from the end of the first issue, the new Hellfire Club attacks the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning. Mostly in these pages feature the veteran X-Men member, Ice Man. Where he displayed an amazing ‘untapped potential’.

Aaron’s words and Bachalo’s art outstand each other in some pages that would affect issue’s pace. But, it minimally effects to few readers. However, in some strange way, they truly compliment each other.

Wolverine and the X-Men is truly an insane book. Issue #2 is a sequel that proves that this series has an ‘untapped potential’.
