Daniel Acuna Joins Uncanny Avengers as Regular Artist

Rick Remender‘s Uncanny Avengers will be saying goodbye to it’s first artist John Cassaday by the end of the first arc to be replaced by the equally talented Daniel Acuña.

For Remender’s second arc, he’ll be bringing more pain for the team as they have to deal with the combined threat of Apocalypse together with Avengers’ Kang the Conqueror.

According to the interview that CBR did with Remender, some of the plot points from the Dark Angel Saga in Uncanny X-Force will rear it’s head here including the ramifications of Warren (Archangel) knocking up the Final Horse(wo)man Pestilence.

***As I recall, Dark Beast said something about having plans for this infant especially since X-Force managed to beat Archangel and stop his plans of using the Celestial Life Seed to recreate life on Earth***

The team will also be working to its full speed with new castmembers like Wonder Man, The Wasp and Sunfire fighting during missions with the original six-man team composed of Havok, Rogue, Wolverine, Cap, Thor and Scarlet Witch.

Current interior artist John Cassaday on the other hand will still be attached to the ongoing but only as the cover artist.
