‘Pacific Rim’ Main Trailer Hits Web, Features Manila (Philippines)
As the next epic action adventure from Guillermo del Toro nears theaters, the main trailer for Pacific Rim has been released! Two months ago an image wherein Manila is featured to be one of the places that the monsters visited was released (see here). Now in the main trailer, Manila is definitely featured although it is not clear if it’s an actual place in Manila. But, a lot of people are geeking out because of this and it would definitely hype up pinoys in anticipation of the movie. Watch the main trailer below:
Oscar® nominee Guillermo del Toro (“Pan’s Labyrinth”) is directing the epic film from a script by Travis Beacham (“Clash of the Titans”). Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni and Mary Parent are producing, with Callum Greene serving as executive producer. The film stars Charlie Hunnam (TV’s “Sons of Anarchy”), Idris Elba (“Thor”), Rinko Kikuchi (“The Brothers Bloom”), Charlie Day (“Horrible Bosses”), and Ron Perlman (the “Hellboy” films). The ensemble cast also includes Max Martini, Robert Kazinsky, Clifton Collins, Jr., Burn Gorman, Larry Joe Campbell, Diego Klattenhoff, and Brad William Henke.
