Wonder Woman fights Darkseid in the PHILIPPINES?!

Filipino fans were ecstatic when DC Comics announced that Filipino comic book talents Carlo Pagulayan, Jason Paz, and Romulo Fajardo Jr. will helm Wonder Woman comics. On the newly Wonder Woman #37,  Pagulayan with another Filipino comic book artist Stephen Segovia incorporated elements of the Philippines in the story.

A fight between Wonder Woman and Darkseid spilled over to Manila, Philippines. The battle has a big radius, covering Pasig, Mandaluyong, and San Juan. The collateral damage was huge. But hell, yeah! Wonder Woman in the Philippines is a dream come true for Filipino comic book fans.

Not only that there was a Wonder Woman and Darkseid battle in the Philippines, but the Justice League also showed up in the streets of Ortigas Avenue. And for long time Filipino comic book readers and collectors, Ortigas Avenue is a very special place since it is a home of one of the biggest comic book stores in the country.

To those outside the Philippines, Wonder Woman #37 is now available at your nearest local comic book stores. Here in the Philippines, it is delayed. It will be available at your nearest local comic book stores next week. It is better to call up your LCS and have a copy reserved. Its not everyday that we get to see the Justice League in the Philippines.
