John Boyega Shares the First Official Look at PACIFIC RIM: UPRISING

John Boyega finally confirmed what we’ve known for quite some time – he will be playing Stacker Pentecost’s son in Steven S. DeKnight’s Pacific Rim: Uprising.

Boyega posted the first official still from the movie on his Instagram account with the message, “I am Pentecost 2018 #pacificrimuprising.”

He seems to be revealing more and more about the film. Two weeks ago, the actor also shared a black and white image of Gipsy Danger – the Jaeger piloted by Charlie Hunnam’s Raleigh and Rinko Kikuchi’s Mako.

If Boyega is anything like Idris Elba’s Pentecost we’re surely in for some apocalypse-canceling speeches.

And if that isn’t enough a set photo has made it into the interwebs showing Scott Eastwood in his Jaeger pilot suit.

Pacific Rim: Uprising will hit theaters in the US on February 23rd, 2018.
