ENCANTADIA Unsheaths Its First, Full Trailer At ToyCon 2016

After a decade of being off the air, GMA finally reopens the door to one of their greatest franchises to boot, as they release the first, full trailer of the requel, Encantadia.
The said trailer made its debut during a special ToyCon press panel last June 11th, which includes a short behind the scenes video showcasing the history of Encantadia and how it evolved as a multimedia franchise. Present during the press panel are showrunners Mark Reyes and Roy Iglesias, and were joined by cast members Glaiza De Castro, Kylie Padilla, Gabbi Garcia, Sanya Lopez, Rocco Nacino, Ruru Madrid, Migo Adecer, Klea Pineda, Rochelle Pangilinan, Mikee Quintos, and Solenn Heusaff.

The trailer opened with a quick teaser showing the four new Sangres’ silhouettes, as they perform their combat and weapon routines, while displaying prowess with their respective elements’ powers. The teaser ended with a clear look at their armored duds, as they seemed poised for battle.
A full trailer soon followed suit, accompanied by Bayang Barrios’ iconic Tadhana theme. It showed actual snippets from the requel, which also included a detailed glimpse at the new Lireo, a CG-fied dragon, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes’ Reyna Mine-a and Raquim, John Arcilla’s Hagorn, as well as Cassiopeia’s bigger role in the conflict.
