Fox Sets Dates for Deadpool, New Mutants, Dark Phoenix for 2018!
2018 is already a huge year for superhero movies but the calendar just got even more packed as we not only get one Deadpool movie but 2 more mutant movies with Josh Boone’s New Mutants and X-Men: Supernova now re-titled as “X-Men: Dark Phoenix”.
In a report by BoxOfficePro it is confirmed that Josh Boone’s New Mutants will be kick start Fox’s slate of new X-Men films on April 13, 2018. Earlier this year, David Leitch’s Deadpool sequel was announced to be for yet another February release (and compete with Marvel’s Black Panther on the same month) but it is now re-scheduled to June 1, 2018. And lastly we have Simon Kinberg’s directorial debut with X-Men: Dark Phoenix that is slated to be on November 2, 2018.
Not on the list were X-Force and Gambit. But considering that they are both said to be in production in 2018, they could be pushed back to another year.
