Dean Cain Flies In For TOYCON 2016
The month of June just got super, as TV and film star Dean Cain is set to hit Manila for ToyCon 2016, which will be held at the SM Mall of Asia SMX Convention Center from June 10 – 12.
Cain shot to mainstream fame for his portrayal of the Kryptonian superhero known as Superman in the hit 90s TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. He also appeared in key roles on popular 90s shows such as Grapevine, A Different World, and Beverly Hills 90210, and has starred in several films, including The Broken Hearts Club, Out of Time, and Bailey’s Billion$.
His role as Clark Kent isn’t the first time Cain played a role based on actual DC Comics characters. He appeared in an episode of Smallville as the immortal Dr. Curtis Knox, and has recently made his return to TV through the recurring character Dr. Jonathan Danvers in Supergirl.
Cain will be joining R&B artist Frankie J, Asian heartthrob Mario Maurer and Game of Thrones’ Kristian Nairn in the slew of celebrities which will make their ToyCon debut.
