FINALLY! Superman Dorbz and other DC characters!
If you are a Funko Dorbz aficionado like me, you may have noticed that the toy company has yet to release comic book versions of Superman, Wonder Woman (without the Invisible Jet), and some other DC characters. Some may even think that it is quite unfair, since Funko had already released comic book versions of Marvel characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, and many more. Where’s the love for DC? Well, good news because our long wait is over! Err, somehow. They have yet to release a comic book version of Wonder Woman in Dorbz form, however, Aquaman, Hawkgirl, Hawkman, Supergirl, Superman, and even Bizarro take shape as Funko’s latest Dorbz figures!
Red Son Superman is a chase variant, which means he has a rarity of 1-in-6. Hawkgirl is exclusive to Hot Topic, and Bizarro is to Toys “R” Us. We may also notice that Bizarro is one, if not the first, of the Dorbz line not to have happy eyes and a smiling mouth. These collectibles are scheduled to be released this coming October. We can’t wait for these to arrive Philippine shores, as these would definitely look good as decoration to one’s comic book display, statue display, or collectible display that is DC-related.
