STREET FIGHTER V Full Fight Trailer Hits Web, Teases Return of Charlie Nash!
After the unexpected release of the game’s teaser trailer a week ago, Capcom unloads its first, full trailer for Street Fighter V during the height of this year’s Unity Cup.
The said trailer expands more on the combo-centric gameplay of this new entry. It also verifies the “Extra Stages” feature speculated prior to the event, as well as the “Revenge” modes available for each character, and the return of fan-favorite Charlie Nash.
In recollection, Charlie Nash first appeared during the Alpha series as a swap for series regular Guile. According to his storyline, Bison took Charlie away and defeated him, thus fueling Guile’s desire for revenge.
Amazon had released advanced listings as well for the aforementioned game. The listing mentions that the title will be released on March 31, 2016, though (outside the year) this is most likely a placeholder due to that date being the final day of the fiscal year’s second quarter.
Little information has been passed along that allows us to surmise how far into development the title is, but an early 2016 release date definitely sounds plausible.
Street Fighter V will be available for PlayStation 4 and PC. Check the full trailer above!
