CD Projekt Red Congratulates Guerrilla Games

CD Projekt Red, the developers behind the hugely successful The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the upcoming futuristic open-world game Cyberpunk 2077, went on twitter to congratulate Guerrilla Games for the success of Horizon Zero Dawn with a lovely artwork of Geralt and Aloy high-fiving each other in mid-air.

Humbled by this huge honor, Guerrilla Games responds in the only way possible, with their own charming artwork. Here we see Geralt and Aloy back to back brandishing their crossbows in the spirit of friendly competition.

It’s always interesting to find this kind of exchange between two such talented studios who clearly have great respect for one another. Horizon Zero Dawn came out on February 28 and quickly became Sony’s biggest franchise debut to date. CD Projekt Red is currently working on Cyberpunk 2077, with executive producer John Mamais saying that it’s going to be  “really, really, really f**king badass.”. It’s thrilling to see what’s next for both studios.
