Buhay Habangbuhay trailer makes you not want to move on

Just when you thought that only Hollywood can come up with comic book movies, the local komiks scene hits you with a film adaptation of Tepai Pascual and Paolo Herras’ Buhay Habangbuhay. Check out the trailer above!

Opening on March 16 as an official entry for the Cinefilipino 2016, Tepai Pascual’s drawings are brought to life (heh) by Iza Calzado (Encantadia), Jake Macapagal (Metro Manila), and Meryll Soriano (Pagpag, Honor Thy Father) under the direction and screenplay by Paolo Herras, who wrote the original graphic novel. Buhay Habangbuhay tells the story of a restless ghost who continues to hang around her still living husband, unable to move on — that is, until she realizes that he has moved on with a new family and a new life without her. Much like what you should be doing about your last relationship.

Buhay Habangbuhay opens on March 16 -22. It will be shown at the Festival Supermall, Greenhills Theater Mall, Gateway Cineplex, Eastwood Mall, Resorts World Manila, Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Metro East and Shangri-La Cineplex theatres.

If you want to find more about the graphic novel it is adapted from, check out our review here, and if you’re very good, we just might give you a sneak peek into exclusive BTS! Go see it!
