Live Action “Teen Titans” and “Young Justice” Season 3 are A Go!

Not a lot of scrapped TV projects would have the benefit of returning to fan petitions or even the possibility of other networks picking it up. But thanks to Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment, they are teaming up to launch an all new DC Comics branded digital service in 2018. This service will be a brand new home for the live action Titans and the return of the fan-favorite animated show, Young Justice. Warner Bros. TV describes that the new service will be “an immersive experience designed just for DC fans.”

The Titans series will have DC-WB honcho Geoff Johns to work alongside executive producers Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman and Sarah Schechter. It is said that the show will have Dick Grayson to lead the team with Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, among other “young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe”. It was originally ordered as a pilot for TNT, but developments of said show were scrapped when the regime changed last year.young-justice-outsiders

Young Justice Season 3, now titled “Young Justice: Outsiders” will make its release under the new network. This season is described that it “will find the teen heroes facing their greatest challenge as they fight meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy.” Young Justice was cancelled in 2013 after its second season and for years fans have tried their best to keep the talks of revival alive through many petitions and even showed support by watching the show on Netflix. The people behind-the-scenes have listened and thought about keeping the momentum of this by announcing the show’s return.
