Assassin’s Creed Set Photos Show Michael Fassbender In Costume

Gamers rejoice! set photos of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed film starring Michael Fassbender have surfaced online. The images show Fassbender donning the Assassin hood and garb iconic to the Assassin’s Creed video game franchise.

So far, we know that the plot follows a modern-day man named Callum Lynch (Fassbender) who uses advanced technology to tap into the memories of his distant ancestor Aguilar (also Fassbender) who is a member of a secret order of assassins. We can only assume that Abstergo and the modern day templar-assassin war are both are part of the movie’s overall plot.

Comic book movies have been huge hits in recent years. Here’s to hoping Assassin’s Creed will pave the way for video games.

Assassin’s Creed is slated to be released on the 21st of December 2016 in the USA and on the 31st of December 2016 in the UK.
