Steve Jobs Biopic May Include Natalie Portman

Universal is in talks with Natalie Portman for a part in the studio’s Steve Jobs biopic. Details on the character Portman will play has not yet been released but, given the actress’ award-winning background, she may be playing a major role.

Should all go well, this will be good news for the Danny Boyle who will be directing the movie.

Michael Fassbender is also in talks to play the Apple icon for the film based on the best-selling biography Steve Jobs biography written Walter Isaacson, and adapted and scripted by Aaron Sorkin. The film is produced by Scott Rudin, Christian Colson, Mark Gordon and Guymon Casady.

Portman is also finishing up on her directorial debut project A Tale Of Love, inspired by Israeli writer Amos Oz’s memoir, she is also playing the main protagonist of the film. She is also producing Burr Steers’ zombie parody of Jane Austen’s masterpiece, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and also stars in Gavin O’Connor’s Jane Got A Gun.
