While Sony’s production is underway for their highly anticipated Steve Jobs biopic, with Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) taking the director’s chair and Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network) penning the script, it was reported that the movie’s supposed lead Christian Bale bows out of his role and departs the project.

Previously, Leonardo Di Caprio did the same after talks broke down with the producers. With Bale off the hook, Sony may have to scramble once more for a replacement.

On the other hand, Seth Rogen is still in negotiations for the role as Apple’s co-founder, Steve Wozniak. Lately, there were also rumors that Michael Fassbender is now touted to take the role of Apple’s iconic pioneer.

Stay tuned, as this story is still developing.
