The game that brings all of Earth’s mightiest heroes together is finally making it’s way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a closed beta on the way.

According to David Lee, the Community Manager at Gazillion Entertainment, the massively multiplayer-ish online action role-playing dungeon crawler based on the Marvel universe will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this spring.

Marvel Heroes have been going strong, featuring more than 100 Marvel characters since it’s release back in 2013. The game has been taking drastic updates with each year and is now ready for a home console release. The game is free-to-play and will allow players to choose from a selection of starting heroes. Players will be able to unlock more heroes with either real money or through an in-game currency.

Marvel Heroes is an MMO of sorts so it requires an internet connection. Whether or not a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Gold subscription is required remains to be seen. A Closed Beta Test will take place before it’s inevitable release. Information on the close-beta test has yet to be released so keep an eye out for upcoming news on it here.
