Argh! I look like I am scolding Norby in out picture. T_T Darn it.
It’s cool though. Metrocon 2010 was my first EVER comic convention so I was overdoing a lot of things. I learned a lot and I spit at the feet of people who says making comics and selling them is easy. Hah! It’s a learning experience for me though. And although I am a comic newb I can feel the love and interest that indie comic book makers and artists have for their work. For me it’s a hobby, for these people it’s a part of who they are. As much as it’s hard for them to share themselves vocally ( I pretty much did the talking to the customers and Norby was a bit shy and creepy when he talks ahahha) they share their genuis (genuis daw oh) to others through their art.
Doc Carlo was a cool seatmate. I probably would’ve gotten bored if I sat next to someone who wasn’t as friendly.
See you guys at the CON!!!~ Hindi na ako virgin that time. (sinister laughter)
* erata * I look like I am scolding Norby in our picture.
My first comic-con as well! The “Yo Bo!” gang were incredibly friendly as well as the Ambush comics group on my other side!
Thanks so much for this fantastic experience, everyone! And thanks for posting these pics, Flipgeeks!
